As part of the international festival Mirabilia

The open call for FNAS SHOWCASE 2024 is promoted by the National Federation of Street Arts Italy and the Mirabilia International Festival to support the growth of Italian creative entities operating in the Outdoor Arts sector.
FNAS SHOWCASE is a showcase of shows and creations in situ that aims to
- intercept emerging creativity and new artistic realities of the territory;
- give impetus to the circulation of Italian works at a national and international level;
- create a space in which programmers can find a renewed artistic proposal;
- connect the national fabric of festivals with the artistic offer.
FNAS SHOWCASE is open to all Italian artistic realities, individual artists and structured companies, without age or component constraints. The showcase will be hosted on Thursday 29 August and 30 August 2024 as part of the Mirabilia 2024 International Festival.
FNAS SHOWCASE can host up to a maximum of 6 shows or in situ creations lasting no more than 45 minutes. During the presentation, FNAS will support the selected companies with a tutor as a facilitator, to intercept all the operators present at the festival. Meetings will be organized between the artists and national and international operators after viewing the shows to collect feedback on the artistic and organizational aspects of the works. A round table is also scheduled to explore the theme of the role of Outdoor Arts as an activator of processes of change in urban and extra-urban spaces.
For the third edition of FNAS SHOWCASE, a jury has been appointed to select the candidates, which will be composed of:
- two representatives of FNAS
- two representatives of the Mirabilia Festival
- Jens Frimann Hansen Teaterleder Helsingør Teater - Passage Festival (DK)
- Lucy Medlycott director of Irish Street Arts, Circus & Spectacle Network
- Natalia Casorati artistic director of the Interplay Festival
- Loredana Parrella artistic director of the Centro di Produzione Danza cie Twain
- Stefano Tè director of Teatro dei Venti
- Marco Caldiron director of the International Street Art Festival La Luna nel Pozzo.
